War for the Throne is an album packed full of musical collaborations. For this LooNurGooSe recording project, Chad Hamlin summoned a few of the other recording artists also incarcerated within the isolated world of the Oregon State Penitentiary. This invitation extended to Bobby Beausoleil, Bunk Sloth, and Kenneth Fisher, all of which accepted and joined in with Chad on several of the new LooNurGooSe recordings. War for the Throne is packed with a variety of songs including a few early recordings that have been remixed and re-mastered. Fully exposed at it’s core, this instrumental collection is like observing the life of an alien nudist colony content with the existence of doing nothing more than dancing to the beat of their own hypnotic groove.
