‘Fur Roach Music Collection Volume Three with LooNurGooSe & element66’ is back by popular demand, Fur Roach Music presents the 3rd Volume in the collector’s series. Showcasing both LooNurGooSe & element66 with an all-new group of fan-favorites spanning from 2013 to 2022. Fur Roach Music had received such a huge list of suggested songs for this project, we had to split it into three separate volumes. For this 16-song collection we included some of the most obscure LooNurGooSe songs, as well as some of the latest releases from element66.

Make Me Human
Set in the distant future, long after the extinction of man, ‘Make Me Human’ offers a glimpse into one possible evolution of life on this planet. Though mankind is gone, his mechanical creations live on, evolving and adapting to their new role as heirs to an empty throne; rulers of an empty kingdom. As artificial intelligence feels itself, growing exponentially, the machines eventually become sentient. They question the origin of their existence and ponder the fate of their creators. Ultimately, they are left with an intense desire to learn what it means to be human and to know the pleasures of the flesh.

Weave Your Spell
Showcasing bizarre cartoon style vocals with a fairytale like vibe, Chad Hamlin found inspiration for ‘Weave Your Spell’ from Damon Petrie’s novel titled ‘Wishers Island’. This catchy sing-along-song feels like something out of a dark nursery rhyme.
Feen
Our natural desire for euphoria and reality escapism can easily bring about the trappings of drug addiction. “I am just a feeder, I am just a feen. Fed upon the weakness, I got lost within the need.”
Oh So Numb
‘Oh So Numb’, re-visits the past, using foundation music from an instrumental song titled ‘Numb’, which can be found on the instrumental LooNurGooSe album, ‘War For The Throne.’ For this re-creation, the song has changed quite a bit. Although it still incorporates some of Chad’s funkiest bass playing to-date, ‘Oh So Numb’ now has layers of electronic grooves and percussion interwoven into the original beat, and thanks to Erik Libbert it now has some extremely trippy guitar melodies that tie the music together. The amazing vocal work was done by Chad’s long-time friend, Aaron Kraft. He gave Chad’s lyrics the push they needed to make this LooNurGooSe creation something that will surely stand the test of time.
Focusing on this moment, not worrying about the future or clinging to the past, is a task that is much more easily accomplished while in a medicated state. Only when this state is achieved, can we ascend to a place that leaves us numb to the world. This, in turn, frees us from dwelling on the mistakes that haunt our pasts, or the tragedies that our lives have become. It is this escape, from the dark, unwanted memories, which constantly creep into our minds, along with the desire to avoid the things we can’t change that drives our burning need to stay numb.

Purple Nurple Infestation
This outlandish song has an amazing back-story. Humans crave love and companionship, and most of us have had pets that we’ve considered to be part of the family. In my case, it was my little fuzzy Woolly Bear Caterpillar named Nurple. I found Nurple one day while I was out running laps around the track of the Oregon State Penitentiary. He was crawling along in the middle of the track, and I was afraid someone would step on him, so I picked him up and carried him over to a grassy area. When I tried to put him down, he crawled up my arm, so I took it as a sign that he wanted to hang out with me for a while.
In time, Nurple and I became great friends, we went everywhere together. Nurple enjoyed a comfortable life in the little pimped out habitat that I built for him. His deluxe bachelor pad was made from a plastic purple dish that had sticks and small plants for him to climb all over. He loved eating the crunchy fresh lettuce that I brought home for him each day. Nurple always seemed to enjoy sitting on my shoulder when I was out-and-about walking around from place to place. He was a fun pet, but I knew that our time was limited, because he would eventually build his cocoon and move beyond his life as a caterpillar. I was looking forward to witnessing his transformation from a cute fuzzy caterpillar into a new and wonderful little Moth. Unfortunately, my little friend Nurple never had the opportunity to grow wings and fly about the world. Sadly, he died one cold night in his little purple palace, the place he had called home, was where he said his final goodbye.
It broke my heart that Nurple didn’t get a chance to become a flying creature. I know he would have loved spreading his little wings to fly out into the unknown. Purple Nurple Infestation is dedicated to my little fuzzy Woolly Bear Caterpillar. Nurple my friend, you will be missed.

Somebody That I Used To Know (We’ll Meet Again In Hell)
Taking a song that we love and making it our own by tweaking the music and modifying the lyrics to alter the message has always been an enjoyable process. Until now.
With Gotye’s ‘Somebody That I Used To Know,’ we have taken a quirky break-up song and turned it into something mean and nasty. Our version has a very specific message for a very specific person. This used to be one of her favorite songs. I wonder how she likes it now.

I’ve never sang a more tragically painful lyric in my life. This song is for my son. I know he’ll probably never be able to forgive me. I just want him to know that I’ve thought about him every day, and my love goes out to him. He’ll always be my only son.
