‘Social Distancing’ the 2020 Halloween release opens a new chapter in the evolution of LooNurGooSe. This six-song collection, which was so fittingly titled ‘Social Distancing’ kept my mind productive and creative during the isolation of the pandemic.

‘Social Distancing’ a phrase that most of us are tired of hearing, yet when looking back on 2020 it will most likely be those two words that will remind us of a moment in human history that we all felt a bit helpless in the utter chaos of a worldwide pandemic.

‘Dumpster Tramp’ – “Treated like an animal locked in a cage. Left to die still full of rage, of the love, I feel for you. I’ve come undone, completely undone.” She’ll always be my weirdo and I’ll always be her freak.

‘Parasitic Sewer Monster’ – “Fire from the mouth, water from the eyes. Everything that lives, will soon all die.”

‘Pale Apparition’ – “Living in this skin, where can I begin. Hiding in this shell, living through this hell. My lunacy burns from within.”

‘Stay Away’ – “He slowly leaked all over this world, blinded by his love for that girl. He’s left the scene, social distancing.”

‘In The Darkness’ – “Obscure insanity it’s all that’s left of me. Her voice is like a stain that won’t wash away. Her face is like a cloud that follows me around.” Losing someone you love is painful, and it feels as if the wound will never heal. This song is my way of peeling off that scab and exposing the horrible festering truth that will forever haunt me.

‘Last Transmission’ – “I want to see my only son, what you’ve become. I know your life will never be the same for not knowing your Mother’s face. This might be my last transmission, if you hear it let me know.” I’ve never sang a more tragically painful lyric in my life. This song is for my son. I know he’ll probably never be able to forgive me. I just want him to know, I’ve thought about him every day, and my love goes out to him. He’ll always be my only son.

I’m so thankful to have the opportunity to create and produce music while incarcerated. Wasting away in a prison cell year after year has taken its toll on my mind, but the creative energy I achieve every time I put together a new LooNurGooSe album seems to bring me back from the dead.

I truly appreciate those of you out there listening and supporting this project. For any of you that are just now stumbling across my bizarre creations, just know that every song was written and recorded inside a maximum security penitentiary.
